The Scenario

A South African financial services company (500 employees, 8 departments) is about to start a 2-year digital transformation. The CEO wants to know: "Are we ready?" before committing R15M. Past technology projects have failed due to poor adoption.

The Brief

Design and conduct a hypothetical organisational readiness assessment. Cover leadership alignment, culture, capability, infrastructure, and change history.

Deliverables

  • A readiness assessment framework: 5 dimensions with 3-4 indicators each, scored on a maturity scale
  • Hypothetical assessment results with honest scores and evidence for each indicator
  • A readiness heatmap: which departments are ready, which are at risk, and which are blockers
  • A pre-launch remediation plan for the 3 lowest-scoring areas
