Design a Dashboard Wireframe

Sketch a dashboard layout for a retail store manager with clear information hierarchy.

The Scenario

A retail chain with 15 stores wants a dashboard for store managers. Each manager checks it once a day on a tablet. They care about: today's sales vs target, top-selling products, staff on shift, and any stock alerts.

The Brief

Design a dashboard wireframe (described in Markdown or as a simple layout sketch). Focus on information hierarchy: what is biggest, what is smallest, what is always visible vs what requires a click.

Deliverables

  • A wireframe description showing the layout grid (e.g., "top bar: today's revenue KPI card; left column: product sales table; right: staff roster")
  • An explanation of your information hierarchy: what is most prominent and why
  • One design choice you made to optimise for a tablet-first, glance-based use case

Submission Guidance

This manager checks the dashboard standing in a stockroom. It must be readable at a glance from 2 feet away on a 10-inch screen.
