UX Teardown of a South African Website

Critique a real SA site's booking flow and propose three fixes.

The Scenario

You have been asked to review the booking or checkout flow of any well-known South African website of your choice (examples: Takealot, Checkers Sixty60, Uber Eats, Discovery, SARS eFiling, Computicket). Pick one, complete a realistic task on it, and report back.

The Brief

Complete the task with a screen recorder or just detailed notes. You do not need to share the recording. Document what you noticed and what you would change.

Deliverables

  • The site and specific task you attempted (one line)
  • Three specific UX issues you encountered, each with a concrete proposed fix
  • One thing the site does well that you would keep
  • Your method for deciding priority if the product team could only ship one of your fixes

Submission Guidance

Vague issues like "confusing layout" do not count. Be specific: which screen, which button, what you expected, what happened.

Submit Your Work

Your submission is graded against the rubric on the right. If you pass, you get a public Badge URL you can share on LinkedIn. There is no draft save, so work offline first and paste your finished response here.

This appears on your public Badge.

We'll email you the permanent link to your Badge so you never lose it. Not shown publicly.
