SpendSmart is a South African budgeting app. They are preparing to launch on iOS and Android. They face competition from established apps and need their listing optimized to show up for keywords like "budget app SA" and "expense tracker".

The Brief

Create an App Store Optimization (ASO) listing and strategy plan. Draft the metadata for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, find target keywords, and suggest a screenshot style.

Deliverables

  • Keyword research list of 10 primary and secondary keywords for the South African market
  • Optimised listing fields for iOS: App Name, Subtitle, and Keywords field (100 characters)
  • Optimised listing fields for Android: App Title, Short Description, and Long Description (first 500 characters optimized)
  • A brief screenshot brief describing the layout and main text overlays for the first 3 app screenshots
